D@mn, I'd be pissed. I want to know where in the hell the transport truck is just as much as you! I agree....flat tire, broken this, late that. I call BS on that quite frankly, wouldn't stop calling until I got a hold of someone. Google the phone number, find several other phone numbers. Start calling them.... Jeez... Ultimately, they are responsible for a VERY expensive machine. BUT....that doesn't mean crap when it's been out for 3 years being built.

I swear...if one of those drivers did something stupid....

My first thought is, the driver lives between CA and FL...

He sat in PHX before going to LA, so his log book is fine. It's an easy 5 day run, even with extra stops, give him 6 in case he had difficulty.

What day was the car loaded? Monday?

At this point, I would call the company and explain that you have located your vehicle using gps. If no response within a certain amount of time you will be calling the authorities for illegal possession of your vehicle. I would assume they have already violated the terms of your agreement.

Sometimes a small "push in the right direction" gets peoples attention very quickly.

At this point I plan on calling first thing in the morning. Didn't expect any answers from dispatch over the weekend. I expect a 'It will be there in a few hours" response. If not, then the traces start - quickly.

I am assuming at this point that everything is fine and will resolve tomorrow. It is too easy to get wound around the axle on the weekend. You always assume the worst...

Well if you know my son, you would know how out of character this is.. He is incredibly non-confrontational, and will do absolutely anything for anybody...

When he was playing Pro-baseball, he would work as a waiter during the offseason...

He called me to tell me about this lady and her children one time... He felt bad, but wasn't going to be treated that badly...

So.. The lady and her upper teenage daughter and middle teen son come in... He said the girl was probably 19, maybe 20 a the time... cute... his words...

The mom proceeded to absoultely tear Jr. apart for his service... bitched about everything, food was cold, water was hot, sweet tea wasn't sweet etc... Called for the manager, blah blah blah....

At the end of the meal, Robert took them their check, and the lady pissed about that saying he should have waited five more minutes for her to finish her coffee...

Robert picked up the check and card, went and ran it and returned it, apologizing for any shortcomings...

Now this is not a Five Star Resturant.. It's a Chain type Mexican Food Place in Little Rock Arkansas.. Pancho's or something...

The lady left him a four or five dollar tip... and they walked out...

Robert said he did this not because of what she had left, but for the way she treated him, he chased the lady out into the parking lot, gave her the tip money back and said he didn't need it from her, that he was a professional baseball player working during the offseason for fun... and she had made it no fun any more...

She came back four or five times over the next two or three weeks with the daughter only and requested a table in Roberts area... He refused to ever serve her, and refused to even stop at the table... even when she flagged him down and waved him over... Manager had no problem with it and there were several servers willing to swap a table for a little while...

wow, yeah - i never understood the whole "tip on percentage" theory. i tip based on service. if you're a good waiter, you get a good tip; if you're bad, you get a bad tip.

Cool story. At some time he could say hi and probably have a friend forever.

If people would just be a little more upbeat and say "Thank You" and "Please" everyday it can be so much more enjoyable. Take a breath a be thankful for each and every day.
