Man this is really sad. It hasn't hit me until right now. But we are going to see a lot of Camaro's on the streets huh?!?!?
My friend is a BMW NUT!! He has an E46 M3 and found out that BMW only made 41,000 cars out of the life span of that body!!! (I understand it's a different price range. Im just making a point) An I see them everywhere!!! So were talking about 50,000+ 5th gen Camaro's riding around!!!! Your going to see them every other car!! I expected it, but it just hasn't hit me until this thread.

Not only that but everyone has the rally stripe/ground effects/rims/HID lights str8 from the dealer soon to be performance parts!!! So not only will you see a Camaro as every other car, every other car could also look exactly like the one you are driving!!!!! LMFAO YESSSSSSSSS thats all bad!!! hehe but oh well ... I say 60K then when people see it on the streets that arent on Camaro5 add another 10K lmao.

I guess 45,000 for 2010.

I think the VIN only has 5 digits reserved for the production number which could only go to 99,999. Anyone know if that's correct?

I consider myself a Camaro purist, I owned every Generation Camaro/Firebird except the 1st. I currently own a 4th Z28. I did not pre-order. I m waiting to see what build quality is like and for prices to come down. I love the Camaro but refused to get caught up in the new release hype.

A friend who works there said they are producing 400 new Camaros a day...

From this I think you can extrapolate how many will be built.... it really depends on when they stop building 10s and move on to 11s.

As long as they build mine, ordered last Thursday, I don't care...

They are currently working 6 days a week to help to meet the demand.

I would guess 65,000 saleable 2010s.

I need to bring the camera and take some photos... the parking lot around the plant are FULL of camaros.. thousands of them sitting there.
