Yes, I compared the 1LT to the 2LS on the 2012 model, and even figuring in $750 for the wheels from Discount, I would have to pay $1480 extra for the 1LT, just to get Boston Premium Sound. I'm not willing to pay an extra $1480 just to get Boston Premium. I live about 2 blocks from convention center, so Viva is closest to me. I like the salesman I'm working with at Viva, so I'm going to try to do the deal there. If salesman is fair with me, he'll have a sale. I think he'll be fair with me.

I drive my car less than 1000 miles per year, so when it's 10 years old, it may have less than 10,000 miles on it. I take very good care of my car, so it should be in great shape, in ten years. I'm getting a black one.

If I remember correctly I think someone added up what the sound system would cost if bought individually and it would run I think 1200-1300 or something like thta. If so, then the price makes sense.

You're gonna put more than 1000 miles on it in a year if you hang out with us. I hardly drive mine except to camaro events and the ocassional trip and I am already pushing 15k in 3 years. Also just remember if your changing the wheel size you are also going to need new tires and those make the wheels look cheap compared in price.

I guess taking a year off is really showing, best time was a 11.5.
Next weekend ought to be great, Lyle is giong to bring out his full on funny car.
If the track is good next weekend I might just get into the 10's.
Well if I can remember how to drive.
Dang I knew I should have gone. We will defiantly try to go this Friday I just got my line lock in and my DRs should be here by Wednesday so I should be good to go by then . . . so how did the new tranny feel?

Tranny is better than new, and very quite to boot. I think the weak link left to address is the clutch. Once I really start shifting without letting off the power I am afraid I will suffer the dreaded stuck clutch.
Sweet new parts! Look forward to seeing all of the new mods on that Vette this Friday.

UPDATED LIST

CAMARO5 EP/LC MEET

Alright guys let's try this agian. On Friday, June 29th we will be having another gathering, thi stime at Hudson's Bar & Grill at 1770 Lee Trevino El Paso, TX. Every last Friday there's a car show per says where folks bring their rides and show em off while the folks at Hudson's grill burgers and hot dogs outside, so this would be a cool event to just cruise to, hang out and grab some grub while we're at it. Then afterwards we will take a 2nd shot at hitting up the tracks in Clint since last week we had to cancel because of the crazy weather that came roaring in that night. Then after the drags, what say we roll down to Dunkin Dounuts for a late night treat because they're open 24hrs., Yum! So let's shoot at a 6:30/7pm meet time, maybe we can even meet at a designated location and have all of the joining Camaro5 family and friends roll in all together before getting to Hudson's. I will get to restaurant an hour early to see about getting a table reserved for us, so by the time everyone arrives we won't have to be waiting anymore than 15min to be seated, and remember, patience is a virtue folks. With the time that it took for us to be seated, order and get our food, it shouldn't take more than 1.5 hours to be done at Hudsons to eat. Again, it costs $20 to run the tracks all night and $5 to watch/spectate. So let's get the list going again on who will be joining that night.

Hudson's and Exhaust

Hello,

I was just wondering if any of you guys going to Hudson's on Friday have the L99 with an aftermarket exhaust?

I'm thinking about driving down from Alamogordo on Friday to hang with guys for a little while.

Thanks,
-Bob

Our boy Gigachip does. I think he's running either a Borla or Magnaflow, sounds very nice.
