It'd be great to see you again. I think the last time was a trip up the mountain for pie. I'll send out the final plans later in the week.

I'll talk to the wife but I'm pretty sure we're in. She's been wanting to cruise up there for a while now and I don't think we have any plans as of yet.

Just booked a room for the Show Low trip in September. Book NOW before all of the rooms are taken by the Car Show & Cruize people. If you book online, in the special requests box near the bottom of the paige, tell them you are with the Tucson Camaro Club and part of the Run to the Pines Car Show and were quoted $80.99/night.

Well I'm just not happy with my results, that's all. Glen had to remind me a few times that it's going to take time and better track conditions before I start to see times that would reflect what the car could do.

Was I scared? No not really, I was just thinking of how different the ZL-1 is to the SS. The SS was louder so I could hear the RPMs rev up. I was able to gauge my shift points because of this. The ZL-1 is fairly quite when in the car and windows up. Having a new helmet on didn't help either.

I might make it out again this summer, but it would be to just practice my launches. I think I took off soft and really didn't give the car a chance to give me a good start. Once I get that down I'll worry about the rest of the run.

Other than that the car did run well. I found out that once over 109mph and in third gear I need to shift because the limiter kicked in. :(

This trip was amazing last month for the Cruzin' the Rim show in Show Low.
Glen has arranged for rooms at the Paint Pony Lodge in Show Low (same as last trip). They will give us the same rates as the car show participants. $80.99/nite, or $70/nite for military/government. 928/537-5773

This is one you'll want to attend. I can't think of a better weekend cruise in the state for the driving experience, scenery and cool temps. Tell the boss now you'll be sick that weekend, you've got a trip to take! Besides, Glen needs somebody to race...
Sounds great! Count us in.

Feeler for whipple

I am thinking about going turbo and the decision would be much easier if I had a buyer locked down for my Black Whipple. It is the complete kit. I would love to sell every thing at once including my LG motorsports longtube headers (no cats) and ADM race intake. This combo put me at a little over 600rwhp and 567rwtq and a 11.6 @ 124.

For the whipple kit, headers, CAI. - $6800 If you want I can install it all for you minus a tune for $500. There is a really good local tuner at ESTuned that will dyno tune your beast for < $400. I think it's $375.

Just the whipple kit, - $5600

headers and CAI will be for sale seperate only if the whipple sales.

The whipple has right around 10,000 miles. Any questions let me know.

Thanks,
Joshua
