I think your right, but I think there are some who are going to do this anyways. I think this is the car that appeals to them. Only a small percentage.

I don't want autobot symbols on my car, In my opinion, it will look lame a few years from now.

Well I guess the point Im trying to make is that I love Bumblebee, and if I was to persue a Bumblebee Camaro, I'd have it done right. Which isn't the way GM had decided to put this package together. But instead with the full length stripes in gloss, against the BB Sunrise Yellow. Id get an SS but attach a V6 nose. As far as Autobot emblems... I may put one on, but only one, over the "V8" inlay on the engine cover.

Already have my Bumblebee my husband painted the stripes on at our body shop. It looks awesome. Is the stripes going to be a decal and at what price are they going to sale these at?

They don't have permission... Where do you people get these false "facts" from? There are no prices. Nothing indefinite. HASBRO HASN'T APPROVED OF IT!

I bet they threw the info out there to see our reaction (like this thread) so they can tweak the package with out doing any actual research. Why else would they have "CGI" images instead of an actual car??

Is there ANY NEW NEWS!?

This is THE car I've been waiting for them to release! -- I was thinking preorder a RY and adding stripes (and from the read of it - thank God I didn't due to all the delays!).... now I'm glad I waited BUT....

they seriously need to get this one right with the paint.
If they got the paint spot on, I'd pay the money for it without any regrets! What's it worth to you to be done right? For me; if they said it is $4000 more MSRP for the correct paint job, I'd be like "OK!" Considering it's being done in the build process and easier done that way, I think that's a win win for both partys!
