Yea, I heard it's coming to the rest of the state also, don't know when though. You just have to "know" the shop owner.

Solos are supposedly legal in all 50 states. That being said, I read that Federal law, probably something in the CAFE standards, states that it is illegal to remove or replace an emissions device unless there is a malfunction with the OEM device. Since I read it on the internet, I know it has to be true. Like Joe said, as long as the 02s are hooked up, there shouldn't be an issue. I can't imagine every podunk backwoods garage that does inspections to know what the cats are supposed to look like on every single car. A dealer, maybe. I usually have mine inspected by my dealer and it's due next month. I'll be going to JimBob's House of Inspection Stickers for this one though. I'll keep you posted on the outcome.

Sounds like you already have it covered then. I think a bunch of us on here need to do business with your dad's friend.

If they are used make sure the risers for the o2 ,are there if not you will need to buy them before installing ,, also make sure they are going to fit either shorties or factory manifolds, or fit long tubes ,there is alarge difference.

Had mine on since march and havent had any problems at all .Except keeping the extra ponies under control

no mike

just got this from Mike sheedy

Andy,I am not going to be able to make it to Watkins Glen this weekend. My brother has got a MAJOR BONER about getting the Tom Henry Camaro that was in bldg. 14(carbon flash metallic). He is trading in his 2007 Corvette and 2011 Malibu for the THR Camaro this weekend and I'm driving the Malibu up for him. While I am up there at Tom Henry's dealership I am going to get my Camaro set up like the Carbon Flash (motor wise) and the spoiler. I want to Thank You and the Upstate C5 group for inviting me up to Watkins Glen. If you ever go back down to the Dragons Tail drive this fall or next spring I AM GOING!

:(:(
