That ZL1 is not stock. Everyone on these forums knows who's car that is. He is self admittedly not a good drag racer and more of a road racer.

For those that care...and because this thread is here...

The GT500 ran 11.30 @ 130 mph with an X-pipe, tune, and DRs. 60 was 2.0x. Same car ran 10.5x @ 141 with the addition of NO2. This was done for a magazine shoot, so how much nitrous and other details are not being put out.

The ZL1 that ran 11.60 @ 121 supposedly has exhaust, pulley, intake and tune. Not sure of the tires. There is talk that the 12.9 @ 113 ZL1 was also lightly modded, but that is rather hard to believe, and even if it was, it obviously had problems on that pass (happens to all of us).

12.9@113 modded? Doubt it unless the driver sucked very bad! That is a stock ss time. Hell mine went 13.1@110 in 95° heat stock and I am not a drag racer

Erik already chimmed in on a thread I started in the ZL1 forum about this race...his car was bone stock at that race
