Get to a track and run it ... it would be nice to see what MPH you run ...

Can't wait for the re-dyno to see what you put down ..

Oh please let my Camaro be a freak like this one!! Please...I don't ask much so just this one thing!

Congrats...hope the numbers hold out for you...that would be crazy to think a factory Camaro made that much HP out of the box...congrats again!

Hopefully the rest of the SS Camaros will be as conservatively rated.

Note to self...don't mess with any SS models when driving my lowly v6 model. Mustangs and Challengers are ok but no SS's!

By the way TAG, I love the sound in this video...starts out sounding like an air raid siren and only gets better from there. Good luck in not attracting the attention of your fellow law enforcement friends.

I very much doubt it made that stock.. though I do bet it gained the 24rwhp with the complete exhaust which is all that matters... Someone messed up somewhere along the line. I have seen many dynos read off once in a while, then electronics are cleaned or something was screwy and they work fine again.

On another note: Is there any idea if there were gains with the bigger primaries? my biggest worries were going to be about exhaust velocity and noise, but it sounds like the mufflers take care of the noise, and by the looks of the gains they aren't hurting! Now, I know you mentioned there was no tune before leaving THR, but did SW tune the car after the exhaust?

Are they going to send some on-car pics'? I heart pics'
I don't think they tried 1 7/8's on there. They did respond saying it wasn't too loud at idle and was fine at cruising.

No on the tune. No one was supposed to tune my car. Tom knew this and SW's did NOT tune the car. This is what their dyno said.

Nope.... We'll have to put it up on a dynojet and see how it pans out.

Maybe since you have the first CGM they Easter egged your car with a super awesome TUNE@!@@@@!!!!!!!!
I'd LOVE that little 'gift!' As far as modding it out, this is plain jane exhaust only. NOTHING else.

Oh, when I get back to SA, I'm taking it to the track for some good old 1/4 mile times. We'll try to get some video too.

Yep...we thought about that too...that's not something out of the question, per say. However, with #'s this high? They've GOT to know we are going to get it dyno'd again.

Dude...they are going to know about this car right when I get back...hehehe....they'll all want to go for a spin in it, I'm SURE!

In a respectful way, I hope you are wrong.
We both tend to agree....this is extremely strange. Tom and I have no idea how this could be possible. That would be....like....the strongest LS3 to EVER come out of GM POWERTRAIN!

The track numbers will tell the story...hope you get to run it sometime soon.

Or maybe its just the color....

I'd love to be able to say about making this much power stock...."Its a CGM thing....you wouldn't understand".

maybe, they just knew the engine was going in your car and they threw a little something extra at the factory.

So when is it going on a DynoJet? I'd be interested in those numbers.

Not sure yet. We were mainly talking about paint today...mixed in with me running my errands. Run over to my journal for the "in progress" paint pix.

I'll let ya'll know as soon as we do dynojet. Right now, paint. Later, dynojet.

And we DO have someone here in powertrain. How cool would that be if they said, "Hey...that's Tag's (Dougs) LS3. Let's ....*looks around*....surprise him" ...
