PLEASE continue to pass along the profound, and heart-felt THANK YOU's to the team for all they have/are doing. Once the documentary comes out that spells out all the trials, frustrations, and passion/sweat/tears that it took to get this baby on the streets -- I'm sure there will be a few sober "wow's" out there from the peanut gallery. Some of us appreciate an understand what you all are going through, and I cannot express my gratitude and respect enough for what you/they have done. Everyone shoulda been happy enough that the 'Maro is coming back!!! Don't look a gift horse in the mouth!! I, for one, will bow in eternal gratitude to the team that is bringing this car to the dealers, and then to our garages!!!! T H A N K Y O U!!!!

Nobody can deny the black 'Maro pre-pro looks SINISTER -- MUCH better than any Challenger PIG (takes FOREVER and a year to get to 60 MPH? WTH? )Go, Chica!

I'm not digging it.
I've been excited to see a Camaro back in production, but I thought earlier concepts looked better. I'm not going to say it looks good just because it's a Camaro. It beats the Challenger and GTO hands down though. Maybe it's still a work in progress. I hope so, we deserve better. |

Bottom line, there's still a lot more to be done before the car is final. Welcome to the site.

Not trying to push buttons.
Just my own little opinion. I think the world will be a better place once this car is on the road again. And for the record, I think the new mustang looks great. I even like the t-bird and the bug. The gto is a piece though. |

I guess what I'm really trying to say is this... We've seen high quality, perfect lighting, professionally taken photographs of the concept. Those pictures, IMHO, STILL didn't do the concepts justice having seen almost all of them in person. These pix we're seeing are from cell phones...maybe an okay camera on occassion....and on top of that, are of preproduction mules. This isn't the final product. That's why I'm cool w/ you not liking what you see. There haven't been many changes to the prepro at all...b-pillar, side mirrors, door handles, rear end, autozone headlights, a slightly (less than an inch) taller roof, make shift grill, gas cap....most of these, we knew would change. If that's too much for some people (not specifically you), most of those parts can be changed back. Go buy aftermarket side mirrors, replace (or shave) the door handles, put on a chrome gas cap up top (those are the easiest to do). That should bring the majority of the look back for those not liking the final product. But, it's pretty d@mn close...VERY close. I've gotten over the gas cap and b-pillar...the two changes that I was most unhappy about. I'm just glad it's coming back...cause I'm going to have one. ![]() Quote:
I agree with you on the Mustang...very nice. Don't care too much for the t-bird or bug...but the GTO? Not a bad car at all...just don't agree w/ the name. |

The looks leave something to be desired. Looks like a grand am. But yeah, I'm hoping no one takes me wrong. I've owned a Camaro and a Nova. I'm not anti chevy. I am just hoping that the looks on this change a little more. So, I never said I hated it, just that I wasn't diggin' it. Hate is too strong a word for my opinion on it. |

Until you can get the prepro in the same light, with the same paint, at the same angle, and so on, they will look different. Also, any show car whether its prepared by a major automaker or if its someone bringing a classic into a show and shine, the show car will look a bit better than the ones you see on the streets. Just another bit to consider when looking at the prototypes
