Like the new dash display, they could keep the wheels, & steering wheel.

I think the mylink will look dated and obsolete in the years down the road. Kinda clashes with the throw back style to me. Now the dual mode exhaust is definitely something I could see on my car!

As fast as electronics update most are already dated and obsolete when the consumer first buys it.

Finally! A really decent set of stock rims. Do they come in 19"?
The current 20" rims are butt ugly with so many sharp angles enough to cut yourself. These rims have a nice smooth flow of lines.

This is why I think it's a mistake to make this stuff a big selling point of the car...Put in a radio and call it a day...All the features of this "My-Link" or whatever can be duplicated with other gadgets most everybody has anyway...

This type of built-in out-dated stuff should be an option to buy instead of no choice at purchase...Re-sale value will suffer IMO.

I was noticing this morning on my way to the hospital how much the new Camaro mirror looks like the one in my 2001 Tracker minus the OnStar buttons. So I guess it is "Retro".
Well keep in mind that the MyLink in the Sonic and Spark will not offer on board navigation that's built into the unit. There will be an app available for MyLink that will provide nav but it will have to be routed through your smartphone. That means it will use your smartphone's data plan.

It's the same as Pandora. You can access it through MyLink but your smartphone is the data conduit for the app.

It's great if you have unlimited data but it can be a pain if you're in an area where you can't get phone recepetion.

The trend began a year or two ago to "not bother" including a CD player in automobiles. CDs are 30 year old technology and becoming seen as stodgy to USB-era shoppers.

Which is very similar to Ford's Sync. I personally do not want to pay $20 a month to OnStar when I already have unlimited data on my phone.
