ZL1 fuel pump question
Does the ZL1 fuel pump require any kind of rewiring to get it to work on 2010 Camaro SS like the LPE twin fuel pump ?
Does any one have installation guide for ZL1 fuel pump ? Will my current MSD BAP work with ZL1 fuel pump ? |

Plugs right in like the stock pump, nothing special needed and works with your BAP, been running mine for several months now.

Just got mine this week.. Looks like a pain in the ass to put in. I was quoted 6 hours to put in. I need mine becauase I'm putting a smaller puller in for my supercharger.

ZL1 pump is a piece of cake to install vs. the LPE twin (nothing against the LPE twin, awesome setup just more work) It is basically plug and play, no wiring necessary and it will work with the BAP as said above.

Once you have access to it is easy as long as you have the locking ring tool also. I am running with BAP too.

Also, how much more capacity is the ZL1 pump over stock?
I still have the stock pump with a BAP. |

An experienced tech with lift and tools can do it in under a half day, just drop rear subframe, drop tank swap pump and re-assemble. At home on tall jack stands I would plan a day for it just to be safe. As for the limits, I'm not sure/haven't pushed one yet. Have run in the 550 rwhp (no BAP) range without pressure drop, but haven't used it in anything more powerful than that yet (have always used the LPE twin on bigger stuff)

better off selling your BAP and getting the ADM fuel control module.

I'll let you know tomorrow how it does on a LS3 w/IW 10% OD 8 rib, Maggie w/3.6" pulley, cam, FIC 850 injectors and LTs. I'm not expecting it to run out of fuel and it will be well over 700bhp. Factory pump was fine @ 630bhp.
