No points for speeding? How the hell does that work? Maybe I should always drive through Wyoming from now on!

True story. No points here. The thing is you can,t have more than 3 moving violations in a 12 month period. When you get a 4th you loose your liscense until the first one drops off. A bigger problem is if you get a ticket for drag racing they can also give you a ticket for speeding which means 2 moving violations. Then another speeding ticket and run a stop sign some time and your walking until the first two drop off. Could be up to a year depending on your timing.

They made it harder then he** to find out where I was to go for court. That's when a buddy of mine who had gotten a ticket on I-25 in Wy told me there wasn't a point system and just pay the money. It never did effect my insurance. Now that was several yrs ago but I don't think things have changed.

One day I need to tell you the story about Rob,Larry and myself and the little trip to Douglas drag strip.....

Wyoming Game Wardens are just like LEO's only in slower vehicles. But direct line to State Po Po's
That's just so wrong...in a mini van? Welcome to the club. Did that myself back in the mini van days, lol.

We hit 147 on that nice straight stretch by Glendo on the way to Laramie. The show was fun and it was good to meet some of you guys. Of course pumpkin man had to show up in that new vette. Nice ride!

Probly see some of you next weekend for the Mt. Evans cruise. Tomorrow is some mod time on the car for me.

Tried google and the advanced search, but I can't find anything that helps. Where do you guys here in Colorado go to race tracks like Virgina International Raceway. Do we have a race track of that type? I keep finding drag strip race tracks. Thanks

HPR is pretty pricey PPIR is a bit cheaper.
I had started checking on a group rate for CCOTR at PPIR and have contact info, but I have have been out of town working and haven't had a chance to see what possibilities there are.
I would very much like to get some time on a road course, and I'm suprised I haven't seen anything SCCA in the metro area.

Virginia's Full "Grand Course" is 4.2 miles. High Plains Raceway is 2.55 miles with 15 turns and lots of elevation changes. We've had talk about doing a track day this fall. Half day is plenty
