I went to the Good-Guys Car Show in Des Moines this past weekend. WOW, what a show!!! Never been to any car show that big before!!! It was amazing......AND HOT!!! Anyway, I saw this car (pictured below), and although the owner's wife told me it wasn't for sale, I regrettably did not give her my card or name/number. So, I know it's a very long shot, but if any of you know who owns this un-restored '68 Z/28 RS, please send me a PM. I would really like to contact them. Thanks.

Scott I told him that you left to go home and that you told us to tell him to find a ride home on his own the look on his face was so wow ! Then I told him that you won an award and he blurted out and you didn't hear it from me !!!!! well that's assinine I'm like ok I would have chose his car for award too ! Then I told him he needed to walk back to where he just came from he's like ohhh ! Just the expression was so Kool good kid there !

It was certainly a hot time at the GG Sunday. Thank you all for the kind words. It was really nice to win a "Super Sunday Award" the first year the program was offered to the newer cars. It sure made my day . . NO WEEK !!

Congrats ! What an awesome award to win. I saw your car a couple times but nobody around. The second time the winners sticker was on your windshield. Cool ! Very nice car . Congrats again.

Congratulations to Charlie and the other winner's at Goodguy's this past weekend. I didn't go to Goodguy's but instead went to the 2012 All Chevy Show in Stillwater, MN put on by the Northstar Camaro Club of Minnesota.

There were 130 cars registered and at the show including a new ZL1 Camaro.

NON-Club members were eligible for the "Top 21 Award" at the show along with the "Sponsor's Award" and the"Best of Show Award". Northstar Camaro Club members were eligible for the "Best 1st Gen Award", the "Best 2nd Gen Award", the "Best 3rd Gen Award", the "Best 4th Gen Award" and the"Best 5th Gen Award". I don't know whether club members were eligible for the "Sponsor's Award" or the "Best of Show Award" (however it would seem reasonable to think that they would be eligible for these two awards too).

I am proud to say that my 2002 Phase II Camaro ZL1 Supercar was selected as one of the "Top 21" non-member cars at the show.







Here is the 2012 Camaro ZL1 that was at the show. Apparently it was for sale. Don't know whether it was registered for the show or not.

Thank you. Where is the Kansas Camaro Show at and when is it? I know that the Mid-West Camaro Fest will be held in Independence, MO on August 25th, 2012 but I didn't know that there was going to be a Kansas Camaro Show too.

the camaro fest is the one i was reffering to sorry been in the heat to long and getting ready to go out again gotta shine the car up for fairgrounds tom eve. then bbq dinner then try and get mowing done ! never ending crazy days !

Okay..............I thought "possibly" you were referring to the Kansas City show but thought there might possibly be another show that I was unaware of.

In addition to Beneventi's show this coming weekend...............next weekend (July 15th) is the H & H Chevrolet All Chevy Show in Omaha, NE.
