Great perspective in these pics. Not too big or closeup to see it well.

Does anyone else see this or is it me - are there air diffuser type fins on the black part of the rear bumper?

Like these:

Since I just had an accident that turned my C5 into a total loss, I'm not going to buy another sports car until the 5th gen is out.

I regards to the grill I hope they do not put on an egg crate grill. I used to love them until my '93 STS with the egg crate. Cleaning and waxing that thing took as long as about half of the whole car. I swore off egg crates for life with that car, although I guess I'll have to sacrifice if it has an egg crate.

I don't mind the current grille, but it isn't my favorite either. I like the concept's egg crate better.

It seems to me in the overlay comparison the A pillars are also slightly thicker, which is annoying for visibility reasons, but was to be expected in a production vehicle.

It does seem that the response is unusually positive. We don't even get trolls being negative just because they're 12, pimply, awkward, and need attention. Wow. yes, I think it is safe to say GM struck gold. The only complaints have been headlights (unfounded) gas cap, and grill. That is unprecedented.

Do you think the rope hanging out the back will be standard or optional?

And half the complaints were probably sarcastic anyway(I know mine were, lol ). I have really enjoyed learning how a new car develops from concept to production . Has anything like this ever happened before where we can actually see it and get little tidbits of info while its in development? Pretty cool, if you ask me.

That rope is preproduction...just a placeholder they got at Autozone while they work on developing the actual production rope.
