So after being glued to the TV for the 24 hrs of Le Mans, the 6 hrs at the Glenn and getting a chance to race in a ORV "fun" event I have realized that I am hopelessly addicted to racing. I think it's time for a career change........

Fen don't watch this video or judge me for what I say next.....

I have been following Audi a lot lately and I am amazed at the PASSION their company has towards racing and all things automotive.

To me, this is music. The only thing that could add to the experience would be the smell of race gas. That is freakin' AWESOME sounding.

Not that it's a bad thing, but remember at the low end Audi is pretty much a VW with a really nice interior. Our Q5 (just recalled for shatteirng sun roofs) is essentially a VW Tiguan.

But I do have to admit to a personal onging for the S5 Cabriolet we saw in the showroom. mmmmmmmmmmmmm. However, a base Z06 is in that bank account impacting range.

Annnnnnnnnnd now Audi owns Ducati as well.

So VW, Audi, Bentley, Ducati and some kind of backwoods dealing with Porsche. Quite the conglomerate.

You are right about VW. Fiat has a few companies too.

Abarth
Alpha Romeo
Chrysler
Dodge
Fiat
Ferrari
Jeep
Lancia
Maserati

From what I gather the carbon fiber technology used in the new Viper comes from Ferrari.
