I have had good luck warming the tires up a bit even though they are street tires.

I ran 12.97 with headers and tune. Then 12.78 with an ADM CAI then 12.59 after adding the ADM scoop.

You need to play with the tune more to see where to leave your shifting. Do you turn off the TC/ST?

yeah... we found the Pirellis, while a street tire, like some heat thrown into them... almost like a drag radial!

Slip, more video. I know my R/T is shit, but I'm workin on it. As for the comp, I ran the car in competition mode, gearselector on "M". I let the car shift for itself, not trying to outsmart the computer here.

Although I feel like it must be going into 3rd early or something...

Your car is fine, you just arent getting off the line. 23mph up top is about right. 2.11 60 foot is what is killing your ETs + 2600 da

You can't tell me 3rd gear sounds strong. Feels even worse, power just drops off... To be completely frank, though corrected times make me feel a bit better, if it doesn't light up it doesn't count IMO. I want to see those numbers on paper, and feel like the car should be delivering better than this, even with my noob launch.

Am I expecting too much from a car that was quoted to do 12.9 completely stock? Pro driver, I understand this. But the listed mods + A6 tranny to keep my errors to a minimum, this thing should be doing better than mid 13s right?

Will get the tires nice and hot next time and see if that helps...

It sounds to me as though you are just sitting there idling at the line and then when you get the light you open it up and drive it down the track. Try holding your left foot on the brake hard and torque it up to about 2000 rpm with the accelerator then when you get the light let off the brake and roll into the throttle at the same time. You'll find the sweet spot for your tires and set up rpm wise but I think you'll find your 60' times and thus your overall ET coming down. Thats how a "professional" driver gets 12.9 out of the car in stock form.

Appreciate it, will give that a shot.

I think you'll find that it helps you out, you can try dropping your rear tire pressure to about 28lbs too. I will say 3rd gear sounds like it bogs down right after the 2-3 shift, something there isn't right. And to go along with my last post if you are too high on the rpm you'll get wheel spin, just bring the rpm down little by little till yoiu get the launch just right, you'll know it when you find it.

That's what I'm thinking... Tire pressure was around 26-28 at the time.

R/T has nothing to do with your ET.

I haven't ran that slow in so long that I will have to go back and look at some old time slips. J/K I would like to see what my old 1/8 to 1/4 difference was compared to yours to see if your top end is lacking a bit.

You can definitely improve your 60ft down to 1.95-2.00 and increase the shift rpm in the 3-4 shift to 6500 so you can cross the line in 3rd.

So, finally went for a custom tune. LIGHTYEARS better than that JRE junk.

Still stuck in the 13s, but down to 13.3 at 107 now. Lighter wheels, with 315s coming early next week, hopefully that will help. Still have a little lug in 3rd, but I have faith in my tuner. Gonna tweak a little more and get it perfect.

The next T&T isn't until early September, so until then here's video from last night. Satisfying...
