I sent him a pm so he'll have plenty of time to prepare, either a shotgun load of salt for all of us, or something good.... Who knows... he may disown us all....

OK, After a week of driving with my new Street Slayer Triple Carbon Clutch, the only thing that I would like improved is the clutch to engage/disengage closer to the floor and not up top. Other than that, I REALLY LOVE THIS CLUTCH !!

I prefer a lil more to the top, makes for faster shifts, but im a lil big and slow in my old age.Glad you love it ,keep me posted on the engagement,if you have a chance to feel another StreetSlayer tripple i would be curious if it felt the same to you ,in other words we have never had someone say this and i want to make sure your clutch is how we desighned it .You can call me anytime if you want to chat about it

Thomas,

in reference to Camaro21's comments,

The clutch engagement is my car is also high... but I'm liking it more and more the more I drive the car...

Keith and I are traveling to the Fest together, and i'll be up in his neck of the woods the night before the big push to Indy...

I'll gladly let him drive my car around and see if it's the same as his...

I made some shakedown passes two weeks ago and man, the clutch is a beast... Gentle street manners until you pour the mustard to it...

4200 lbs car, 800+ ft/lbs and I dang near killed the car twice trying to learn to launch it... That thing freakín clamps is all that needs to be said...ended up with a 10.92 my first time really driving this car... and it has a lot more left in it, especially with the additional work being done on it right now... The car is faster than the driver... way faster...

Totally agree......

Finally was able to test out the new clutch at the Sturgis Camaro Rally on drag night. It was 1/8th mile track so no 3 > 4 shifts, but 1 through 3 worked flawlessly. Put on about 1k miles to/from rally and no grinding except one shift - which I chalk up to a fluke/driver error maybe. Extremely happy to be shifting without fear of grinding. Initial engagement in 1st gear took a bit of concentration initially, but well worth it and seems alot more streetable after racing it. Prior to the trip I also changed out the clutch reservior to a larger Kawasaki one that holds more fluid and has a better cap that keeps the fluid from sloshing around and bolted to my relocated innercooler reservoir.

Also took 1st Place Modified 5th Gen in the car show and took pics with Scott Settlemire and his ZL1 parked next to mine at the hotel.

Pricy but worth it - total cost was just under $100, but a couple of the OEM hardware pieces could be deleted that I didn't use. I searched the internet and about 8 motorcycle shops and this was the best for fitment/inlet direction/clear for viewing/acceptable fluid capacity. I hated that after only 2 pumps when bleeding and the cylinder could go dry , plus this one never leaks. Resold my GTO one already.

I'll dig up the reciept & info this weekend when I get back in town and things slow down. More mods scheduled as soon as I land
