Not to worry, there are people here that deer hunt and have put deer they bagged in the trunk.

I paid off my Dodge Ram 1500, kept it and then got the SS convertible! If you haul or tow things frequently, then keeping the truck or perhaps getting access to someone elses truck from time to time would be helpful.

It shouldn't be a problem , assuming that you have at least one friend close by that still have a truck ,just in case you need to move something from point A to B

Soon after buying my Camaro I realized that it is too nice of a car to drive it to work everyday so I bought a 1994 Silverado 1500 z71 as my daily driver.

The issue I'm having is figuring out a way to tow our seadoo jet boat... My 05 Jeep Grand Cherokee would be my "down paymen". The wife's 11' Kia Sorento 4 cylinder front wheel drive isn't rated for the boats weight... If it was I would be looking for a Camaro now!

I traded in my 2006 TBSS 1SS for a 2010 SS SS/RS 1SS A6, couldn't be happier.

I did this a year and a half ago. It was my wife's fault as she saw me geeking out at my computer on a sunny day and wanted something fun to do, so she suggested we go to a test drive. I had a 2004 Silverado that we drove to the dealership, went for a test drive, and ended up driving my new SS home. HAH!

If you are in the process of remodeling your home or making regular trips to home depot/lowes/etc, then you may want to think twice about it. There's a certain freedom with a truck in that you know that whatever you might find, you can haul it back, if it's 40 bags of mulch, a couple dressers, whatever. Not going to have that freedom in the Camaro, but it brings with it its own type of freedom that is different from the truck.

So, it really depends on where you are at in your life and what you use your truck for. Only you know how much of an impact it will ultimately make...

Best of luck...

I traded my truck for my Camaro but I have a new Suburban to fill the shoes if I did not have the Suburban I would have been in trouble so in you shoes NO do not do it save up for a bterr down payment and keep the truck.

keep truck. i made the mistake of selling a paid for truck shortly after i bought my ss. figured i didnt need it as i was driving my camaro all the time. shortly after it was sold i had sellers remorse and got caught in a few situations where i really needed one. luckily i found a good replacement and wont let that happen again.
