price on superchargers
Can anyone tell me why a supercharger (TVS 2300) costs way more for the Camaro than any other vehicle?

supply and demand. Camaro is one of the hottest cars out right now.

Development/resources/availability.
New kits are more expensive to pay R&D costs. Also factored in are the resources and raw materials needed to make the kit. S&D also plays a factor.

It's really just the manifold that's the difference right?
It's the Camaro Tax. It cost more because people will pay it and it's still new. Buy a slightly used one. I got mine and installed it myself. 3500.00 |

Its the same with the other superchargers as well including whipples and the vortechs..... Camaros are price X Corvettes are less Mustangs are a LOT less The prices have started to soften which points to lower demand, but the vehicle gaps are still there. |

yeah all seem to have same internals, just different machined snouts and such. it is really silly some of the price differences..thought about getting one for a corvette and seeing if I could buy the snout separately.

There was a used whipple recently on here. I haven't paid that much attention. Is 3500.00 Super duper good?
