I drive both... Camaro and a Silverado. It's kind of like comparing apples to birds, though... both serve completely different needs. I gotta have the Silverado for hauling things around, for camping, for helping people move stuff, for hauling building supplies, and for being a tough guy.

But, the Camaro is for enjoying the drive, getting all the love from admirers, getting good mileage, and sporty curve carving. I live in the mountains, so the winding highways I commute on every day are for more fun- inducing in the 'maro than in the 'rado.

So... best answer is to get 'em both. Barring that option, though, gotta decide where your priorities are.

I don't really like how the new Silverado looks like that's why I was thinking of waiting till 2014 when they change the design, but they are pretty expensive

That's why I was debating on both because on the Silverado I can help people move and whatnot and have more passenger room. Not sure if thats the case with the Camaro considering it has bucket seats.

Do you really want to help people move? Lol thats one of the reasons I dont own a truck anymore.

Do you really want more passengers? My Camaro is a 2 seater because I hate excess passengers. If friends want to come along, tough, take your own car. I learned a long time ago not to take passengers cuz then you have to be on their schedule. Leave when they want to leave etc.

Get the Camaro and get your perma-grin started already! Quit screwin around!

True, besides they'll end up getting my car dirty haha. If I do get it it'll probably be in a couple of months. I'm getting some money in so that should help.

Exactly! See, your already starting to think like a Camaro owner

Lol in all honesty though, get whatever is going to make you happy. In the end it is your decision. We probably arent the best people to be asking if you should get a Camaro or not, were all a bit biased

Only con really is the blind spots, but you get used to them after a few days. The rest are pros

Pros:
-Speed is fast and fast is fun.
-Good brakes, come to a stop in a hurry. (Especially nice in busy cities/freeways).
-A safe car; Hopefully no one has to go through a rough car accident, but I'd feel safe in the Camaro if I did.
-Awesome design. The car is just a beauty.
-Amazing Front Driver and Passenger Leg Room. Spacious.
-Decent Trunk Space. Enough. But not like my other cars my old DTS had a ton more.

Cons:
-Blindspots. Very hard to get a feel for them. There are a few places where you can't see. I've had a car be stuck in a blindspot where I couldn't see them at all, regardless of looking through the window or mirrors. I had to speed up slightly to see them.
-Worthless backseats unless used by small Asian women. Or for very short trips. An average sized man would be very uncomfortable back there for extended periods of time. Great for my dogs though.
-Paint quality is more or less average, if not slightly sub.
-Side View mirrors do not fold in. (Not really a problem if shes in the garage but parked in a parking lot it can be a bitch. But then again that's why you park 100 miles from the nearest car anyways!)

I'd go with the Camaro, depending on how often you are transporting more than 2 people. If you do often, then perhaps the Silverado. Because more than 2 people in the Camaro is just uncomfortable for everyone involved lol.

Yeah I dunno if you saw earlier but I had a 76 LT, still do just broke down, and it wasn't really that comfortable for the people in the back. I'm also thinking of getting it because a lot of people have told me that the Silverado is a gas guzzler and whatnot, but I don't think it is for a truck it gets some pretty good mpg.

Yeah I did, I was just listing the pros and cons that I think of when addressing the Camaro. But yeah, I love my Camaro, it's a part of me. The look, the feel, everything. I wouldn't give it up. I would drive around the country with it, its spacious and comfortable. (Obviously not for the rear seats.) Decent mileage so being you're not too crazy with her, but even so - it's a solid piece of machine.

Yeah it definitely is something else. Of course there are a lot of haters out there but in the end they don't matter only the car matters. I know a lot of people, including my friends, that say its a really nice car and would kill to get one haha

If you are comparing a camaro to a silverado, you are obviously comparing what you want vs. what you think is practical.Based solely on your comparison cars......by the siilverado....When you can afford to treat yourself, get a camaro.

Get both! LOL. At this point I love new 3500HD more than my Camaro. If you have ever seen my car that's speaks highly of how much I love trucks!
