Hello,
When driving a '13 1LS yesterday I was smelling a lot of clutch. What is the recommended time on the clutch for shifting? I'm used to getting off the clutch quickly for performance shifts. When I let the clutch up more slowly the smell went away but it wasn't as much fun to drive. Any metrics or rules of thumb would be appreciated. |

I don't think I've ever smelled mine. If you're getting a clutch smell, I'd think it was just some residue left over from assembly. Try getting rid of it with a few hard starts, heh heh.

only time i used to ever smell clutch is when i'd ride it hard and be slow to pull off, but over time the smell will go away once it gets broken in
