Andy, I am very sad to hear this news :(

You were one of the most welcoming forces in getting me into this club, and the PM's that we had as I waited and waited to order, and finally have my car built really helped build up the excitement for me.

You've helped to build an amazing club, and we won't let you down in keeping the Upstate C5 group what it is!

Do what you have to do to get things in order, we have ALL most likely been there. I know I have. If you ever need anything you have my number. I hope that our paths will cross again.

Best of luck to you and your family.

and Thank you so much for everything you've done for us.

Hi guys....
Andy is NOT leaving the club he is being a bit over dramatic.....unfortunately we are having some issues. I did NOT want him to air any dirty laundry between us to the club or our mutual friends.

I will not be attending shows but I have encouraged him to do so and I want him to go to Canada. Please support him and talk him into doing so. I need some time away and although I will miss you guys I will still be around when I can.

This decision has not come lightly and again I apologize that he is causing concern and drama within the club.

second...thinking about cam, ported/polished heads and headers. Probably going to be doing in steps....which should be first and what shop you recommend in cny for the work.

thanks guys
Hi there, I am currently down in Clifton Park and a loosely associated part of the "other club". I don't give a rats a$$ about the bickering between presidents or any of that. I will say this about cam and head work. The heads absolutely do not have to come off to put a cam in. If you choose to do a cam by itself you will need: 1. a steady air pressure source, 2. a compression test kit hose with schrader valve removed. Pressurize each cylinder to swap the springs and not drop the valves. As far as shops, I would recommend Ted Jannetty, in Watertown, CT. Also this advice is first hand as I installed my own cam and upgraded springs while stationed in Pearl Harbor, HI. Good luck and if you are near me and need a hand hit me up.

Well I guess you proved me wrong... You really don't have to pull your heads in order to swap out your cam, this correct... My self and many others on the forum pulled the heads to change out the lifters, which I suggest people should do...I drive my car hard and TSP and New Era Performance said I should upgrade my lifters when doing a cam swap, which involves removing the heads, but what do I know..
