So, Im still a bit fuzzy on the GMS, GMU thing. I was under the impression that GMS stood for General Motors Supplier. But everyone states that GMS is the employee discount and the GMU is the supplier. Not saying I don't believe you guys, but then what does GMU stand for?

Ive read that GMU can be used by employees of a GM dealership while for GMS you need to be a direct GM employee.

My brother works at a local GM dealership....so is it possible that I could benefit from that and get GSU pricing? Or is this for employees of the dealership only?

Thanks!

I have supplier discount through work, but I have not found a dealer that will accept it. They say it's now allowed on the Camaro, but that contradicts what I see on the internet.

If the dealers honor it, do they get some of what they give the customers back from GM?

Does anyone know of a dealer in Houston that offers it?

I have one that says the CU discount of 500 is all they will go with MSRP. But that is the best I have found so far. But I am going to have to go with that if I don't find anyone else, because since I lost my first order I want to get this show on the road!!!

GMS pricing on mine. Father-in-law worked at GM for 31 years. 2SS w/sunroof and polished 20's. MSRP $35595 - GMS $33032.25 I read alot of complaining on here about waiting for cars to be delivered. I understand it's hard to wait on something you've invested a lot of money into but, I think I can wait for this.
