Having thoughts of trading RL SKY

I love the the zl1 and currently own a 08 redline sky that I also really love.

I owe 12k on my redline. Should i pay it off in the next two years and then get a zl1 or do it now?

I really think the redline sky will becaome a future high dollar collectible car just like the zl1. So from a investment type stand point should I wait and then own both?

Go for both ... A lot of guys will tell you the ZL1 because the Sky is a girly car. Both are fast as hell and fun to drive.

Pay off the Sky and then buy the Camaro. That's what I'm doing (I have a really well put together MX5). They are so different that I will enjoy them both differently. I think the Sky could increase in value, but it will be sometime.

None of these cars are going to be Ultra-collectible if folks keep driving and putting miles on them... Sky, i can't see being that desirable especially when GM keeps putting out more and more interesting cars and now the talk of a possible Buick GNX in the near future and the 6th Gen Camaro is going to be downsized to about 3,400lbs with a Hi output 4cyl Turbo(possibly).... I can't believe you have a 2008 and still owe that much on it... If you like the Sky,keep it and try to find a used ZL1 in a year or 2....

Not to hate , but why would that Sky be collectible IMO that Pontiac two seater looks just like it... I really doubt any car these day will be collectible outside of very few low production number cars.

The whole point of the OP wasn't anything about the Sky being collectible, just the fact they are fun as hell to drive.

I owe $5600 on the Sky and my local dealer still has the same Zl1 in stock since last summer. Should I consider a 1le with current incentives and keep both?

I say let the sky go and jump on the zl1. A good drive in one will make you wonder why you held on to the car. And it only gets better with simple mods.

I personally don't think the Sky is going to necessarily be a big time collector, however I think that and the Solstice are cool. So if I had one I'd probably try to keep it and get the ZL1 if I could. A secondary reason would be to have a car that got better gas mileage for whenever.

You will forget the sky at exactly 1500miles....

I am not trying to be a dick or anthing but I am not seeing the sky be a high dollar car. I could be wrong but I just don't see it.

I don't do two car payments so I would either pay the sky off then buy or dump the sky and buy the ZL1.
