Is the Camaro as wide as the specs indicate?

A spoiler might make it seem even higher like you said but it would make it look more like the concept's rear end. I think part of the problem some people are having with how the rear looks is that these cars we been seeing doesn't have that beautiful spoiler from the concept yet. I bet when we see that on the car a lot of people will have less problems with the rear's look.

as far as the width of the car goes...all of us 4th gen owners know that our camaro is pretty damn wide. If you really look close at the 4th, gen the back of the car its a tad bit wider. My new Z28 is stock and when I park next to a 05+ mustang the mustand is a little bit taller. As far as the 5th gen is concerned its been stated that its a little bit lower and a little bit wider. there was a picture posted when the spy pics started rolling of the 5th gen parked next to a mustang and you can see the difference. I cant wait to get behing my 5th gen somewhere in the near future!

^This 5th Gen is actually wider than any Camaro ever built.

I can't wait for exact #'s, but it was supposedly 6 inches wider (I remember reading that somewhere well over a year ago).

Yup this one right. Man even in camo like that the cars blow away the mustangs in looks!
