First full tank of fuel after the fuse pull, did not notice a big difference in mileage, but I may have been "making sure it was working" too. I definately still notice it does not feel like it wants to fall on it's face at take off though.

ive read a bunch of this thread, what crap on gms part!! would be so simple to have the default setting be high octane at start up, and only revert to the low octane when the engine senses it. im talking about EVERY TIME you start the car, it should automatically be in the high octane setting... that would be an easy thing for gm to program it to do!!

my fuses are pulled, and will re-install in the am and see what happens. ive got an ls3, and didnt pull the battery cables. i do know they put cheap gas in it when i purchased it thou, ive run 93 ever since, so im hopefull to wake er up!! just hit 3k miles today.

thanks to everyone that figured this out

I pulled my fuses soon after I bought the car(brand new) and a tank of 91 octane. Not sure what the dealer put in, but I didn't feel any difference after the fuse pull and 91 octane.

The moral of the story is.....Do NOT feed your V8 anything other than SUPREME unleaded. Regardless of how much it costs per gallon.

Im trying this at work.... right now did it at 12 midday.... leaving home at 6 lol... on my 12 ss 6spd .... my car has rough idle, and sometimes boggs at take off from lights... been putting 91 since i got it... but from experience of working for the dealers they always put 89 in so cal... so im assuming its what they did... But then again this whole bad gas stuff has me worried... South Los Angeles ... i try to stick with chevron 91 and shell 91 but sometimes lol things run different.... Riding my motorcycle around i put 91 all the time but some gas stations feel better then others on my bike... especially chevron feels great... but who knows ill update you guys, after 3-4 hrs a reading this thread i agree there should be a stick with the mod and 1 experience for each type of camaro lol and a seperate thread for all this damn Discussion lol... im assuming im adding to the problem....

Obviously, they were well aware of this before releasing the Camaro, so I'm sure they're in no hurry to fix it.

Bought mine used at the end of May and noticed some lag. Fast forward to last weekend's road trip to Vegas, I pulled the fuses the night before and used octane booster at each fill up (5 tanks); it still feels torquey after another 2 fills without booster.

Guessing the long drive and added booster helped clean out the gunk from previous owner... also helps that I hooked the catch can up in both configurations for the LS3 engine.

The LS3 has two ways the catch can be hooked up as opposed the one way for L99's. You can vent either:

1) the entire crankcase by plumbing the catch can inline between the driver's side engine rear to the intake manifold (the same method for L99's), or

2) just the valley by plumbing the catch can inline by removing the oem plastic coupler that runs from the valley to the intake manifold (cannot do this on L99's).

Wish I had the link that I got my pdf instructions from.

So?

So you're saying there is really no need to perform the fuse pull then?

As long as you've been using Supreme, there's no need to do the fuse pulls.
