POWER!

Power > HP

What do I mean? Well I own a 2012 LS with 323hp and its not bad power wise for a V6. I have a couple friends who own the SS or other V6s of the 5th gen and they are all fast but even with the SSs 425 hp they arent much faster then the 4th gens were....

My one friend had a brand new 2SS when they came out (2010) in M6. Now that was a beautiful car and pretty darn quick. Btw I am using past tense because he got married and bought and traded for a SUV. Anyways back to the story. I have a 96 SS at the time, loads of miles, no upgrades completely stock A4. We went to the track numerous times and he beat me most of them with me winning once or twice. Anyways both cars stock vs stock, 285hp vs 425hp, there was not much of a difference. He never pulled much on me. Clearly he had the faster car but not by a lot....

This is one of the reasons I bought a V6. I needed a new car and love the Camaros. I wanted something that would make a great DD and to keep when the 6th gens come out and praying they have a lot more power!

If GM can make the best v8 really a beast, I would be very happy!

Redo on cup holders. Just don't work with stick shift. Prob the most often frustration. I already know not to use them, my passengers don't.

Now I don't know who was driving the non 2010 SS but a Gen 5 will spank a Gen 4 SS without even trying stock for stock..

I had a 2004 toyota which I would take on long thousand mile hauls and the paint would never as much get a rock chip..
Paint regulations are based on the location that the car is painted in, so if you are suggesting that GM should send every Camaro to the same locations that your BMW, Audi, Honda and Toyota got painted, I hope you factored that cost in to your purchase. I for one will not pay ZL1 prices for a 2LT just for better paint.

And where would you put them when there off. I take it you have seen the trunk. Don't get me wrong I love the idea of T-Tops but I have a 300zx TT with T-Tops and I live in CA and I take those tops off close to never. Its a pain in the ___. If I want open air I would just get the Convertible. I think that the T-Top was only around due to everyone stopping production of Convertibles, thanks to Ralph Nader.

This is merely MHO.

HAHA! I do not think improving the paint job would raise the price to ZL1 prices... who are you trying to kid bud...

What kind of logic is that...I did not say they should send the Camaro to those places...why the heck would you do that - that's so inefficient...I am CERTAIN they could figure something out regarding the paint if it was required.

Ha!

A 98-02 LS1 car will easily keep up with the 5th gen SS. 4th gen LS1s run low 13s easy, and a couple have broken into the 12s stock.

Gee, the Camaros have really progressed.

id like to see them make a convertible top that doesnt fall apart in 6 months, it should also have a built in tonneau cover for the top, not the POS they have now, and push to start would be nice instead of the stupid switch blade key that the audis had since the 90s...
