I made this thread so a higher authority GM employee (maybe Fbodfather) can see this and take note of how to make this already brilliant car better.

Maybe have the side mirrors tilt down when you shift into reverse to help with parking the monster. My girls Lexus has this and its incredibly helpful.

This kind of blind fanboy crap makes me sick.

So what, you think every other manufacturer is having to work under different regulations than poor old GM? No!

Stop defending a corporation who cant figure out how to apply paint to a car! I paid premium price for this car. It should be premium quality product. And its not! And you dont see this many complaints on other manufacturer forums!

I never have understood this crap. At the end of the day, GM is in it for the money like any other company. So if you really think that by defending them you will get some sort of appreciation, you are wrong. But you will get continued issues in the future.

A friend with a AUDI has this and you can start the car in the garage with the key fob in the kitchen. And then you get to the store and you don't have it, he had to walk 4 miles to get home to get his 'fob'. Luckily He has nice friends that can give him a ride back to his car.

I really doubt that can happen, If that were true anyone could steal the car right out of his driveway when it was running. The fob should have to be within a few feet of the car for it to continue running.
Maybe though it wasn't a factory installation?

Actually, some of those fobs have these issues. Heck, Top Gear UK did a show where one of the presenters, Richard Hammond, was inside of a diner eating. He had his car parked in the parking lot and the fob was in his pocket. One of the other presenters, Jeremy Clarkson, was able to actually get into the car, start it, and drive off in it without the keys.

It is a flaw....to say the very least.

An options list.

Picking the package you want it easy and cost effective, but it gives us all the same cars. I loved hearing stories from the men in my family about going to the dealership and picking every single option they wanted, i.e. gear ratios, engine options, trans options, intake options, badging combinations, small details that really made their cars their own.

Talk about bad engineering. I'll just keep my old fashions key then...

They can't win.
That's why options exist. There are too few options on the Camaro.

A good example is MyLink, it is standard on everything except the LS, despite some people wanting a CD player or a radio that looks like it was made for the car.

That's all your going to get from current owners. If people had major gripes, they wouldn't have a Camaro.

You want major gripes, ask other car enthusiasts that don't own one, such as the guys with a Mustang or the guys on TGO. (examples cited are due to personal experience with the comments people make on such forums)
