I cant wait till the start with the "Make sure you give us all 10"s on the review sheet". My reply will be you want 10's, what are you going to do for me?

Why would you EVER start paying for something before you have it???

Just doesn't make any sense to me.

A downpayment, yes, monthly payments before you get it delivered???

I don't know if they are doing it on purpose. I think at some point based ont he invoice they assumed these cars have shipped or something.

I had the salesmen who sold me may car try to get the payment ball rolling then I just asked for railcar tracking and he could not provide it. I just simply said I am not even talking payment till the car is in route. even then money is not chaning hands until the car is here.

All a big game once they got your $$$ they can care less. I was supposed to get a call today which I have not received at this point............. I will be a nice guy and wait till tomorrow and if no call comes Ill have to take a ride to the dealership and make some noise! On another note I had a friend that works at another local dealer that if my car is truly sitting where they say I sould be able to get a letter from my dealer stating its paid for and mine and I can pick it up.............? no idea how much water that holds

Started to look a little as well but not too seriously just yet. Is there a difference between the 427 and the Z06? They are the same engine as far as I can tell as well as the same price or close to the same price.

Regarding the financing, my dealership and I already had all that done when i went to evet 6000. Within the following week, my bank, Bank of America actually called me and asked if I had the vehicle in my possession. I told them no and the bank went on to tell me how the dealership is trying to get funding from the bank for this car that hasnt even gotten to the customer yet. So basically my bank put a stop to it and told the dealer that the financing is approved and will not fund the car until i recieve it. Which is great cause my first car payment was to be on Aug 1.

So for those of you who are having these type of problems where you have to start paying your car payments for a car you have not received yet, I would talk with your financial institution cause they may be under the impression that you guys have your cars already.

Waiting for my dealer to call me back with my railcar #....

G-Oil, I wouldn't blame you for getting a Corvette, especially if you aren't needing the back seats in the ZL1. But again, you know if you do that this week your car will have shipped today or tomorrow.

Yea I know.

My desire was just refueled when on my way home from work I drove past a Victory Red ZL1 driving down main street of my little town.

If I wasn't so zoned out from my house problems (wind storm broke some windows) I would have spun around and followed him.

OK! Dont want to hold my breath but just got off the phone with my dealership and he just got off the phone with the DBC=Dealer Business Center, VOMS=Vehicle Office Management Systems Department (whew, too many acronyms) and they said my Z (VIN#149) is off QC and was loaded on a railcar this morning. My dealer said that my status will go to 4200 tomorrow through the GMworkbench system that they have. He also said he's never heard of GMConnects but anyway, hopefully my dealers isnt blowing smoke up my wahoo either.
