The car doesn't "know" its been tuned. Besides the whole warranty isn't voided, in fact nothing is voided unless the dealer or GM can prove that what you did caused the failure in question.
Its not so cut and dried as you say. Personally I don't care about warranty on mods I do, but I guess some people might. I think most guys looking for a performance car wouldn't care. |
