mechanic1,
Hopefully you will get it before your winter season sets in and can't enjoy the experience!! But yes, other than a couple of lucky ducks, most of us are playing the waiting game , good luck!!

Hey, what were your freight charges there?? Was thinking it should be almost nil from factory to your local Oshawa dealer.

just my $0.02
Absolutely, but the shipping time is not so much an issue is it? I thought it was being held at 4B00? No? I was under the impression this was where your car is? No? just my .02 cents.

Awesome! FINALLY!! CONGRATULATIONS Brother! You deserve it!

Can't wait to get the call my car is on the truck this morning, then I can spend my day watching it get PDI'ed. Has to be so much better than keeping my eye on the computer to see if it's moved, or checking GM connects every 6 hours.
Congrats

I wish. Since it just shipped last Friday, I'm guessing it'll show up the week of the 23rd-27th. I need to call my dealer today to get my railcar #.

No Car again today. Arrived in Phx 80 miles away On the early morning hours of the 12th. The dealer has told me "sure but wasn't unloaded until the 14th!!" I call C**P on that. Going to tell me the railcar sat for two days in some railyard BEFORE it was unloaded? I call that GARBAGE. Possible? Anything is possible. I'm sure they came in on Saturday to unload a railcar that came in on Thursday morning? Sure. Sooooo, Supposed to be tomorrow. Had to wait forever for the QC hold and now I'm waiting for some trucking company that was supposed to have loaded this car LAST WEEK!!! Ok, tomorrow then.

No my car is at 4B00. I was referring to Mechanic1's ZL1.

I was saying his shipping time should be virtually none once it actually gets loaded on a truck.

That's all.

Saw my first ZL1 in the wild today. Twas awesome.

OK! I didn't see it on GMConnects myself and I dont want to hold my breath but just got off the phone with my dealership and he just got off the phone with the DBC=Dealer Business Center, VOMS=Vehicle Office Management Systems Department (whew, too many acronyms) and they said my Z (VIN#149) is off QC and was loaded on a railcar this morning. My dealer said that my status will go to 4200 tomorrow through the GMworkbench system that they have. He also said he's never heard of GMConnects but anyway, hopefully my dealer isnt blowing smoke up my wahoo either. So I'll wait till tomorrow to get excited.

I've only seen 1 Zl1 (IOM) in the wild , fellow C5 & Tucson Camaro Club member ArmySig, And 3, In more like the Zoo. (Dealers) Two at my Dealer, when they came in, and delivered. One across town at the other Chevrolet dealer. Actually posted it @C5 it was for sale at MSRP. I've seen two Victory Red and two IOM. Can't wait to see the SIM in the "wild"

I agree about his shipping, maybe he could even get a factory delivery. If I lived that close? I'd try it.

My dealer says to call GM to get the rail car number. Is that how y'all have been getting rail car ID?? I thought I saw on some other threads that the dealer has it. Do I need to tell the dealer where/how to find the info.??

VIN #115 hit 4200 on 7/12 and have been hanging in limbo ever since wondering.....
"Oh where, oh where has my ZL1 gone, oh where oh where can she be?"

Tell your dealer to look it up on GM Globalconnect. It is under the Model/Order Information section.
