Well, i figured i post an update on the sprint car build since i don't come round much anymore. ENGINES DONE!

nothing new, Klepto-Drew still taking stuff and not returning it. I have lost my sunglasses and know they are in his car by now.

Edgewater, Friday, yes!! I've been working second shift all summer and haven't gotten down to TNL at all. I'm off Friday and definitely want to meet up. Drew!! GO!! I'll even bring your favorite person ever, Pat. (And Adam, I would like to meet ya as well, so it works out.)

I passed my boards for surgery on Monday. I feel like I am on brain melt and NEED some fun in my life.

Yes, did go to the first one in Georgia. Thanks for the insights, I'm sure it'll be a crowd at first, then die down after folks get burnt out from the sun and heat. Was at the LSX last Fall. Race facilities are incredible there so I'm sure they'll know how to move a large number of cars down the track. Going to Edgewater Friday to break in my new DR's so hopefully I won't have to launch in third gear anymore.
I'm not doing the races, just want to run that track a couple of times. If I ever decide on a which drivetrain to go with I'll come back in October and try the race thing.

I doubt I will be going to TNL tonight so tomorrow night it is. Hopefully I get my new tires today or tomorrow. Ordered from Tirerack Tuesday.

I didn't get my tires yet.:( I ordered new back tires for my 20's and I am going to buy a set of 18" Corvette wheels and DR's for the time being. I am going to do the gears and axles and maybe a hood now, then the Procharger this winter. Then I will do the Welds. This is the plan as long as the economy doesn't take another dip and I keep getting bonuses at work.
