From the outside bolt on parts and the driver airbag its fixable, however, if your frame rails, which are hidden are damaged badly enough to need replacement it will be totaled. That is my professional opinion not just a guess...

But I need to know whether or not you all think my car is totaled or not.
People on the scene said it probably isn't totaled and the body shop looked at it and said it's repairable... But tomorrow my insurance is gonna look at it and see whether or not it is totaled/repairable.
Here are pics... Please tell me what you think. My driver airbag DID go off.
It's a 2011, 16,000 or so miles...

Not a total. Just because the air bag deployed does not mean automatic total loss. Sorry folks, but that alone is not the determining factor. I'll agree with some who stated 6-7k to fix. Looks to be about correct based on what I can see. Structural damage is not that visible until it's torn down or at least the hood is opened. The car did what is was supposed to do and as long as no one is hurt, it's all good. Sorry to see it happen.

Weird - with the smashed up front end it kind of looks like a Mustang now.

If not totaled be certain you are compensated for diminished value.
A carfax report with minor damage does not affect trade-in value that much.
A carfax report with airbag deployment WILL affect trade-in and retail value.
I was in the car biz once

It hurts to look at those pictures! It all depends on your insurance and the body shop the car goes to. Like a previous poster said, it depends on the cost to fix vs value of the car.

Camaro sad face!

I don't think it's totaled-- and it certainly doesn't cost $12,000 to replace airbags.

As others have said, your car looks sad. Kinda makes me think, well I won't say what it makes me think of.

That's at least $10,000-$15,000 in damage.
Appears to be frame damage as indicated by the k0cked right front wheel.
Keep in mind the insurance adjuster(s) might upload the CDR to see how fast you were going prior to impact. That data could be important for the insurance company of the car that turned left in front of you.

Id say no, but its always hard to tell from just a few pics. Wheel doesnt looked ****ed to me. Seems as though your hood and headlights are even good, all the impact was in the center. Engine prolly shut off before all the coolant leaked out, you just have the radiator, fans, bottle, hoses, bumper, absorber, fenders, etc. I think the frame will be fint behind there.
Will be close.

I can tell with 100% certainty that it is not totaled. So many people for whatever reason think because airbags deploy that its totaled. Airbags can deploy on a fender bender. Its never fun when you hurt your car but thankfully no one was injured. I would now say go find yourself the best body shop in your area and it will be back to brand new looking in no time.

I vote not totaled.

My '03 Mustang GT 'vert took $15k of damage, and they gave me the option to repair or take the cash and run.

I actually made a profit on that deal.
