Need a shop that will tune my SS

Hi, I'm in Southern California, Inland Empire area. I'm looking for a shop that will do a tune for me. I'd rather not buy the tuner myself, because I'd like to have a professional do it. I have removable cats, so are there any shops that will do a tune with no cats?

Thanks,
RedRamen

I know you said you don't want to purchase a tuner but buying an SCT tuner from Ted Jannetty and getting his custom tunes emailed to you is really the way to go unless you have some crazy custom build. Hes one of the top tuners and really takes pride in his work and won;t stop till your happy. You don't have to do any of the tuning yourself. You upload the stock tune from the car into the SCT tuner, connect it to your computer and send the stock tune to Ted. You give him a list of all your mods and he will write a custom tune for you and send it back. You load it on the SCT tuner and upload it to the car. If there are any issues he will instruct you on how to datalog so he can fine tune your tune. This is the route im choosing to go. the tuner is $400 and your first tune is free. At a shop you spend between $400-$800 for a dyno tune. To me it is a lot more convenient to have my own tuner to read codes and adjust my tunes from the comfort of my own home without having to travel to a shop. Anytime you add a new mod you just contact Ted and have him adjust your tune for the new mod for a small fee.

If you insist on going to a shop, Ryne at Cunningham Motorsports in Temecula is a great option. There is also Haddad Motorsports in Los Angeles. Both shops are great for LSX engines and really know what they are doing.

How would you go about getting in contact with Ted and purchasing a tuner?
