Replace carpet and padding

Repair trunk electrical wiring harness, replace trunk trim seal

Holy By the time you're done, all you'll have left original is the motor and frame!

had a little more fabricating to fit the 4l80 in then we thought, appears that not all 4l are shaped the exact same, shift linkage did not have mount bolts like diet cokes 4l...some other stuff, should be ready to fire up by weekend, wrapping exhaust from headers to mufflers with titanium wrap to keep heat along dshaft lower...order dshaft this week...after i get measurements today...fabricated a new removable tow hook on frame..then its back to audio guys to finish there wiring-tv-and some more audio stuff..still waiting for nick williams to email me te return the nw102 for new metal gears which cause the tb to close..

Was contacted by my buddy about doing a wetsand and buff job on his s10 he had painted black. The truck used to be orange and silver. It made it to the final 4 at pinks all out at pbir when his buddy was driving it. He bought it back and is changing it up a bit. The guy that painted screwed him over by not doing the finish work. The areas he did sand were left cloudy and full of sand scratches. So I went over the truck again to make it look like it should.

Started with 1500 grit then 2000 grit meguires sand paper.
Makita buffer with a yellow cutting pad and meguires 105 ultra cut compound.
Porter cable da polisher set to 4 with a lake county orange pad and meguires 105 compound

Then a white polishing pad set to 4 using meguires 205 finishing polish.
once he gets it back together and running I will go over it with the meguires 7 glaze and meguires 26 yellow wax.

Here are some finished pics

I had a permanent tow hook welded on. Am very pleased with it. No more grappling around every time I have to hook up the winch!

i have 4 inches clearance with my body kit, also was looking more for hidden hitch...we fabbed a 1 1/4 female to the frame horn recessed behind bottom grille and have a 11 inch 1 1/4 reciever that will slide into and i can throw a pin into it...so its removable..now all i need is a trunk to carry it..lol...
