Yep. I'm full of crap! BS! Always have been and always will be. LOL
There is only one ET Street that could fit that bill and there would be tire bulge as well as the fact the only tire that would fit that 20" SVT rim is 28.9" ET Street Radial tire and there would not be a lot of wheel gap as shown between fender and tire. I'm still full of crap. He raised the rear end to conceal the drag radials. Damn GT500 owners. All we do is conceal ways to cheat and we have to. Really! The owner himself admitted the tires weren't stock. That's it.. the rest of the car was bone stock. Great run for the GT500 with some crappy 60' times on DR's, terrible run all the way around from the bone stock ZL1... End of story. If you want to start throwing out your SVT links you might want to start w/ this one... |

I would still like to see a bone stock race between a ZL1 automatic car vs a 13 500 at a local track on a street night, with the actual owners driving their cars. No tunes, no suspension mods, no drag radials, just stock.

Let see what the cars are capable. Both stock with exception of sticky tires on both cars, both manual tranny with good drivers and in low DA so no excuses of "heat soak".

Lets set up a Mid-Atlantic event, I know there are a few of each running around Hampton Roads and the DC area. Friday nights at Virginia Motorsports Park would be a great venue.

We have had numbers differing quite a lot. Another reason to line them up the way I suggested. Based on what everyone else is running I agree that 11.4 had to have been in a low DA. |
