If you're going to run 275/40's look into getting a 19" wheel. I have 275/40-19's on all 4 corners; the rims are 19 x 9.5" with I believe a 28mm offset. There are no clearance issues in the front although I have Pedder's coilovers which might help.
Try and reduce the unsprung weight if at all possible. If you're not going any bigger than a 275 in the front just get a 9.5" wide rim. There's no advantage to using a 10" rim and you're just adding unnecessary weight. The optimum rim width for a 275/40 is actually 9.5" so they fit perfectly. If you can knock 4 or 5 lbs off each wheel by only going as wide a rim as necessary, and possibly a 19, you'll be amazed at the difference in the car's performance. Not sure why you're doing the wider tire in the rear unless you're doing drag racing maybe? With 275/40's all the way around my car has plenty of traction and handles great. I got 3-piece forged rims and even though the fronts are 1.5" wider than the stock wheels, I still removed a total of 30 lbs of unsprung rotating weight for all 4 by switching to 19 x 9.5's compared to the factory 20" wheels. The effect on acceleration and braking is like removing 300 lbs of static weight from the car. You can definitely feel the improved response.

Car's my DD, don't have the resources to buy separate wheels/DRs for drag, so these tires are gonna have to cut it for weekend circuit and drag racing. Plus they look great from the back.

315 is a bit wide for a 10", usually recommended 10.5 to 12.5, would probably have a bit of bulge.
the fronts should be fine as long as your offsets are cool. |

I have 275 40's on 10" rims on all corners. Might want to look at the BFG G-Force Comp2 Tires. I had the Invos and they did look a little stretched. I did not like them and switched to the BFG G-force because they have a little wider thread width than the Invos. I am much happier.
