These are my to babies... Otter left 6y/o and Izzy on right 11 y/o.
Both are Wirehaired Pointing Griffons..

Otter is being treated for blasto as we speak, its been a rough 2 weeks for sure, but he seems a bit better today...

We have three fur babies:
- Fingers, 9yr old tabby cat, 20lbs (not fat just massive!)
- Sophia, 9yr old white with tabby cat (Fingers' sister)
- Eddie, 8 month old Australian Cattle Dog (aka Perrito Tornado!)

The end is near. He is staring to look very uncomfortable. I told him there was a chipmunk in the yard , he no longer wants to look out the window. He got ice cream on Friday , probably for the last time.

Well, we made an appointment to put Cody to sleep on Wednesday at 1630, the time has come. He has been very uncomfortable the last two days.

He had some pizza today and steak yesterday. Today I had to carry him down the steps. He starting coughing, gagging and his breathing is very labored. He is very unsteady when he walks.

He appreciates the treats, I'm sure.... My mom's Newfie had chocolate for breakfast on the day we had to put her down (she had congestive heart failure) - you could see in her eyes how much she enjoyed that, and it made it a little easier for us...
I'll be thinking of you and Cody tomorrow.
