The Jeffersontown stop has more to offer anyways - Kingfish, Wendy's, Waffle House, Arby's, Cracker Barrel, Thortons, and Chevron. Sound better?

Thanks Phamaro for the suggestion, it is much better after taking a second look at it.

That is a very good location! Huge Parking lots at Garden Ridge and Ashley Furniture next door, all kinds of food! Now it will make the folks coming up I-65 from Nashville go a little out of the way, But if the construction is still on the I-65 bridge, that location allows us a couple of real good options to avoid the worst of it. 64 to the Watterson (264 W) to bypass it, or 64 into the City to either get on I-65 downtown or to by pass it (stay on64 W into Indiana then 265E, back to I65).

The only thing I would still caution everyone on is; I am still not confident that the I-65 Bridge work accross to Indiana from Louisville is going to be completed by then, initial plans said yes, but I know there has been continued big time delays with the reopening of many of the interchanges, and it is a mess daily! But it is passable, just may take you a bit longer than anticipated to get thru there. I will be happy to keep the group updated as I learn of updates/changes from local news. I picked Sellersburg because I wanted to be north of Louisville. The National Street Rod Assn show is in Louisville. I wanted to take the west bypass, around Louisville, because of the construction and try to avoid some traffic. Not to sure about going so far east. How much further will that be?

This is how I was thinking. I have never been through Louisville though, it seems shorter and avoids traffic and the bridge. Just another idea.

Exactly! Just trying to make the trip as efficient as possible. Plus, I would be very, very upset if the there were any construction "mishaps"!

Maybe we can come to a consensus!

It's 218 mi – about 3 hours 41 mins from Point B.

There's food near by (other side of ramp has more food) and gas too. Suggestions? Anyone been there or near there?
