Just have them fix it. It'll look fine. They're not going to give you jack off of it. If you don't get it, they'll fix it and sell it to the next person in line. Just fix it and enjoy it. You've waited long enough. They'll fix it just fine.

What else did they do? Are you sure they didn't joy ride then loose control and hit something? Something fell on the hood?

What happend exactly? For all you know they redlined the hell out of it. Have you inspected the engine, interior and underbody? It's gonna need an outside inspection.

I agree- let 'em fix it and fix it right- get a discount and enjoy your new car! I think refund of destination fees are due

I would not take this vehicle. Tell them to keep it and go find another! If mine comes like this I will buy another somewhere else. I feel for you!

5000 is not gonna happen. 500-1000 might.

But they are not gonna give it away and or loose money.

Aww, that'll buff right out.

No really I hate that for you. Maybe see what it looks like after they fix it but someone else will probably move in on it if you dont act fast.

I vote for checking to see what the repair looks like, then deciding on a course of action. A discount of some kind is a must, and some free oil changes for your additional heartache.

Keep in mind that no matter what they do, the paint they fix it with will never be as durable as the baked on finish from the factory.....That alone would cause me to lean towards a different car......for 35K I expect perfection.

That repair will never be as good as the factory paint,.this happened to me.I bought a1990 ss p/u with fender damage , they repaired it and said as long as I have the truck they would make good any bodywork that came through,4 years later the truck needed to be fixed bodywork & paint did not mach. The dealership closed and I got stuck with a $450 bill.

i don't wanna know how many dealerships would just fix it and sell it to you without you ever finding out about it. let them fix it and take a look at it.

I'm in the same boat. My Pontiac G6 came with the front license plate on (with 4 holes drilled in) after I had asked them not to install it. They said they would remove it and fix the holes no charge. Two years later the paint is cracking in the front bumper and the dealer went out of business. Furthermore the dealer that bought them out won't touch the bumper on my car unless I pay them $$750 for the re-paint..I change my statement...Order a new Camaro and just be patient once more.. You'll thank me in a few years..

If the damage is over a certain price they have to disclose that to the buyer.
