That is just the cost of the hood. You will find the price competative with other hoods of the same quality and limited production runs. You will however need to have it painted. The high quality of the product will require minimal preparation time, in order to have it ready for paint.

Just ask anyone who has purchased a lower quality hood, how many man hours it takes in order to get them show quality.

Also, we are using only the best materials, so that you don't have to worry about distortion from engine heat and the elements.

Our hoods carry a 5 year warranty.

Love the yellow,question i orderd grey leather. What do they do with the SS BADGE does it stay grey with the yellow around ior what. Looking foward in doing business with you Nicky C.

You can count on me for a set of wheels and a stinger hood I'm waiting for a Rag top .
I used stinger hoods on a few of my builds already i think they are bad ass !

We remove the SS badging on the headrest, which is where we put our Logo (tm).

Our Proto Type Stinger Hood should be on the Car and on display at Bloomington Gold, In St. Charles Il, later this month. We want to make certain that we are 100% satisfied with it, before it goes into production.
