Did they actually let you order??? When I went in there they had a "list". No not a waiting list to order. A list of people they were going to call to see if they wanted to buy the Camaro that the dealership chose all the options for. I hate that dealership. They were assholes when I bought my last Camaro so I went to Michael's and now they are pulling this crap. I would never buy anything from them.

chevymuscle311, Man, I don't know what to say? I was in there getting parts late last Spring, when I asked when they were going to start a list. I told him I wasn't tire kicking, and that I was really serious. He made a quick call and they told me to leave my phone number with him, and he'd let me know when one was started. I don't know, maybe a month or two went by when I went back in there to get some parts. The guy told me they just started making a list...so I put my name down officially. When October 13th came, I went in there to order, but (for whatever reason, I really don't know and never did find out) they weren't taking orders that day. But did tell me that I was on the list when I asked 'em to check for me. Then a couple weeks before Christmas I got the call telling me that my number was up, to come on down to order my Camaro. I went the next day and placed my order. They didn't try to force me into anything...it was all up to me, and I ordered it exactly how I wanted it. They were VERY helpful and cooperative, and I felt extremely comfortable with them! One thing I did notice was how prepared I was when I went in there, due directly to all the time I spent on Camaro 5. I had memorized how much the different models, options, and packages were, and mentioned different facts and figures without being a smartaleck about it. Honestly, I truly believe they were happy that I was one of guys getting in on their allotment. I was #8 out of 11. As time had gone on, I think I moved up one spot. Then last week when I was in there, I think I moved up even more? I've got to tell you, I'm very happy with EVERYBODY I've dealt with over there, from ALL the parts guys over the years, the body shop people, and now the two men I'm dealing with in buying the car! Right now I don't have any complaints, and honestly don't expect too now, or in the foreseeable future. I might add, I've never known anyone who has had a bad experience over there, only positive ones. I'd actually recommend Hedrick's Chevrolet to anyone who asks!

Just got mine on May 6th at Selma Auto Mall. They had a auction and I arrived after it ended. Winning bid was $41,000. While waiting to look at car, salesman came out and said buyer didnt qualify. 2nd bidder added $500 and went inside to purchase. Salesman came out and asked me if I would give $43,500, I said how about $43,000. Two hours later I was out the door for $49,000 with a 2010 Silver 2SS Coupe. How lucky can you get

Hey silverSS, so you were the one who got that Camaro back on the 6th? It was looking like Rob53 was going to be the first one in the Fresno area, but I guess you beat him to it? Anyway, is it a 2SS, or a 2SS/RS? What VIN# did you get? While it does look like you paid a little too much...the fact of the matter is that it would have taken you quite a bit longer to have gotten one if you hadn't. Congratulations, I'll look forward to seeing you driving around town!

It is a 2SS Coupe with ground effects. The VIN is 2G1FK1EJ3A9104543 and after driving the car for the past week I would have paid $10K more but only since I can afford it I guess. The car is so fun to drive and I kind of like the attention it gets too. Yell at me if you see me. My name is Paul.

Hello, C-B here, I live in Clovis CA. I've been going to Hedrick a verry long time when they used to be Hallowell. However when I talked with a salesman about purchashing a new silverado for my buisness I recieved total attention. Then I asked about ordering the Camaro, It was a different outcome, they took me to an office where I met the salesman who does the ordering in all of about 2 min. they took my name, # & model choice period. no work bench paperwork or anything. So when I went back when the v6 came in to look at it and check to see if there was any additional info he actualy said they were having Camaro burnout, thats not what I wanted to here planning on spending close to 40 large & truly needing to replace my buisness truck. Knowing that Hedrick has always been great to deal with I did not expect that. So I have placed my order with Madera Chevrolet. They have been great, workbench submitted & perliminary accepted. I've had 2 emails to follow up since my order 4/25/09. So far have been satisfied with my choice to travel the short 30 min. 2SS/RS / IOM/ IO interior removed Hurst thanks to great info from Camaro5 forums.

3 Way Chevrolet in Bakersfield is one of the top 3 producers for GM in California. I hated that dealership when I was younger, but I havent been there in over 15 years. My dealership was given extra allocation and said the other top 3 dealers should have also received them. I wasn't expecting my order to go in for another 6-8 weeks, now that should be about all I have to wait to get my car. (fingers crossed)

I don't know how many allocations my local dealer has but they're taking orders at MSRP right now with $1000 deposit. I know one of the salesman and he's on top of things for sure. They've gotten in 3 so far. They've got one in that might still be available and is not sold for sure. Rally Yellow 2SS w/polished wheels. He said they're also expecting a RJT that was ordered by a gentlemen but he bought their showroom car so that'll be for sale. He didn't mention if it was a V8 or V6.

I just got the call from my dealer Madrea Chevrolet that my order has been pulled for production scheduled for 6/15. Be still my beating heart!! I'am feeling a bit guilty though knowing how long all the pre orders have waited. Maybe this means production has picked up and in full swing. I ordered my 2SS RS IOM IO interior black ralley stripes. Thank you Camaro5 for all the great info. All the best C-B
