Well I will definately be marking the days off my calendar. And when there's still 1000's of cars stuck in QC on the 14th, then what?

I really don't think I can handle much more of a wait.

No one said that all older cars would be shipped and that NO OTHER NEW car would be going in there. They all have some sort of QA/QC hold, some longer than others.

Every time they produce a car that doesn't meet their standards, they are going to put it in the holding pattern until it does, this is an on going process. So there might be cars in the hold areas, but they would be newer cars.

I understand that. But I'm talking about all the cars that have been sitting in QC for weeks (if not more). I have my doughts that all these cars will be out of QC by June 15th (I hope I'm proved wrong).
I was told by GM customer service (this week) that my car would also be in QC until at least the end of June. I know they don't know what they're talking about, but so far they've been the only ones telling me the truth. My dealer told my I woud have my car by early April. Then I was told I should expect my car on May 18th. But my car still sits in QC, just like GM customer service has been telling me (very frustrating).

I understand there will still be a QC process for all recently produced cars.

I was told by production control on 5/27 that my car was on the line this week and then would be going to QC for 3-4 weeks.

I really don't understand what's going on. A lot of the more recent orders are flying through the system and are being shipped.
While others are being held back in QC for weeks and weeks.

I just don't understand why GM can't complete whatever is necessary (QC) in a more timely manner. I've heard stories of guys waiting a month or more (30+days) just to get the battery fix done.
