Hey guys,

I was talking to a local dealer who's talking to some what he says are reliable sources at GM.

Has anyone heard of Saleen possibly making the SS engine? I mean didn't Saleen just recently make their own corp and they are no longer Saleen-Mustang? What do you guys think of that. Oh and the dealer guys said that the SS will be the 3rd and most superior model.

Comments?

This may seem like a ridiculous question, but how can you be sure that this is indeed the SS? Or is this pure speculation with a few facts?

It's a claim for now, but the change up in wheels and funky tape are definitely a tell-tell sign.

On the first gen cars, the hockey stripe was used mostly on the SS cars.

It has been mentioned, but generally speaking the members here aren't too fond of the name Saleen. Search for Saleen and you will know what I'm talking about

Hey guys...got a text from our anonymous member from out in AZ today. The text came in at 12:40~pm...just after lunch who stated the white Camaro was out and about around the GM proving grounds and was being followed by a GTR. Supposedly, they were both going fairly fast...too fast for our member to get a cell shot.

Just an FYI for all ya'll Arizona'ers....be on guard and carry that camera!!! You just might be the next lucky one!!!
