I was there last night and I ran between 13.70 and 14.00 all at 106 mph.
Stock m6 with a bad driver ( me ) Quick video iPhone taped to visor. Saw the slip for the redauto zl1 andit was 12.90 at 111. |

![]() The ZL1 came down with me. Was his first time racing, and that was his best pass of the night. Had a good time though, hopefully he'll bring the car out again soon!

"how cute"... Thats what she said.
All I have to go on is my personal experience. I don't have a laptop for data logging, and always got the feeling there was no time for me- unless I was in the market for some kind of a material sale. Were I better funded, I'd have a blower too cool guy.

What all is done to your car, I tried reading your build thread but it has a lot of posts....
Your 1/8th mile is troubling, 82mph is about what I'd expect these cars to run in the mid-summer heat. I ran 84 in the 1/8th stock in good air FYI. If you have headers, cai, hi flow cats I'd expect you to be in the 12's even at 3500 DA. I've done some stuff to mine but it's for a magazine article but I'll just say that you should be much quicker.

Ever try running it in "S". They shift much better in "S".

Headers, 3" exhaust, Airaid cai... Lowering springs (1") and sway bars.
Been running in "s" every time, but it seems to take a few passes for the computer to learn that it's time to go fast. I drive in "m" every time I take the car out of the garage, which may not be aiding my times...

Fine, I take it all back. I was more than satisfied with the tune, and actually stepped down to a custom tune because my breaking the sound barrier on the way to work was riling up the neighbors. Better?

You could buy a stall, but why should you! Congrats on getting tun and getting closer to were you should be, I think before you BUY anything else... keep working on getting the car to run what it should in the first place, not bandad a issue with a stall

@ Revo1,
What altitude is your track at? You should track weather conditions so you can see how much the hotter summer air is slowing your car down. I'm not a 5th gen expert, but I'm running a lot better than your times and it was 3700 DA when I ran. Maybe start with a fuel-related fuse pull. Does your current tune turn your fans on sooner? Were you idling in the lanes for a long time before you ran? Changing the fan setting can help you avoid slowing down from the coolant getting hot.
