At first I was like yea he has an issue it's not that bad then man show that to the dealership and tell them you want a new car.... If they can not fix next stop for me would be bbb or a good lawyer....

Not sure how long that has been going on, but that car has to have alot of water damage to it... if a lawyer tells you nothing can be done.... trade that car in.....

it has only been this bad for a week. before they fixed it there was a trickle just like the beginning out the video, that was at its worst.

as for how long its been happening I noticed it end of may, but i've had the car since September, never really had passengers so never noticed it.

I really hope they can get this resolved.

I would go ahead and file the lemon law, theyve had it multiple times and havent fixed it, rather made it worse, it sounds like it needs to go back to the GM factory and be redone.

You might not have triggered the lemon law in your state yet. In MN it was 4 visits or 30 business days in the shop. I continued to work with them for 9 shop visits and 52 days in the shop with my issues before I went after the lemon law complaint.

get in touch with GM customer service, Brandon can help you with that. They may be able to do a little more for you. If you don't have a successful resolution through them, then I'd look more into the lemon law.

Good luck

Contact Gm and ask them politely to replace the vehicle with a new one before you rack up a bunch of miles. It is not an easy process but stay true and firm. I believe that you have provided them ample time to correct the problem and they have failed. Best case they fix the car and you live with the water damage. Worse case they never fix it and you live with much more water damage. Ask for a rental and turn the car in until they get the paperwork done to replace it. It should take about 1-2 weeks. You do not want to put miles on the car which they can then try to charge back to you. Been there, done that.

I have an appointment on Tuesday for another repair attempt. I am getting a rental and I just hit 6000 miles today.

I would show the service manager that video not the rep.... Tell him if they cant fix it this time you are going to the BBB and register a complaint and look in the lemon law with an attorney.. Just to be a really nice guy I would be if this was your car and you got caught in a down pour how would you like your car start flooding out and what if you had your kids and wife in there... I would be livied if this was my car.. hope for the best for you.. make sure you have all the paper work and time line and events ready too..

I'm in the process of a buy back right now with mine. My new 13 is on order. with a buy back, there is no fee for mileage. If you lemon law it and take money over a vehicle exchange, then there is a $.10/mile pleasurable driving fee that they deduct from the check that you are cut.

If you opt to take a replacement vehicle, there is no fee assigned. I only have to pay the difference between the window sticker price on my 12 with the window sticker price on the 13.

One last thing I would do that water test before you leave the dealership and hopefully there not dumb enough not to do before you pick it back up... I think you would be there this time if they can't fix it...
