Just posted pics...awesome show! We have to get a big group together next year for this one. The show has grown from 300 cars 8 years ago to almost 1000 this year! Next year is the 10 year anniversary too.

The night was "easy", hurry up and wait. The morning wasn't bad, pull the screw out, stuff a plug in it and air it up. I am a low budget antique tractor puller, not an 18 wheeler driving super stock puller, therefore I can afford to pull on one day and have the Camaro to try and go to a car show the next.

From the pics it looks like it would be a good show to get a big group to go, were there any more 5th Gens there or were you and Don the only ones?

I probably would have gone yesterday but the Camaro is at the collision shop and I wont get it back till Fri or maybe Mon next week. I will hopefully be able to go next year. Still up in the air on Olcott it will likely be a last minute decisions.

Last year there was over 1000 cars also. we usually meet at the gas station a little ways down from event then go in together. let us know I know last year was fun and they say it keeps getting better. talk with you later.

Olcott Show

I already posted in the main page but I will repeat here also. For those who are coming to the Olcott Beach show in September, I am thinking about having a BBQ Camaro gathering at my house after the show. I will have Paul post details on the homepage. If anyone would be interested let me know in advance so we can plan for food and drinks! I hope to see alot of you next week at BBOMG.

Just got the Camaro back this morning and I am happy with the quality of the collision work. The paint match is perfect and the gaps are all even and look just like the passenger side. My only complaint and it is a small one is that they lost one of my air caps. I had the chrome GM ones with the RS logo on them and the drivers side one is gone.

I understand that they needed to remove the tire and rim to do the repair but why would you take off the air cap? There was no damage or repair done to the rim. We called them to see if they may still have it but I doubt it. Now its only a $12 part but I probably wont be able to get new ones shipped before BBOMG unless I want to pay extra for overnight shipping.
