Never said anything about doing any work on the retrofit... it was a simple question. I read just as well as you did that he wasn't going to be making any further progress on actually installing it into the car, he doesn't have the brain box even. Doesn't mean he may not answer a simple question about the pic he posted, or that he needs you to run interference for him.

No idea, There is one more you dont see back there, and i dont mean the one from the A/C connector i hope the new antenna and XM wires well tell more.

You will, i will be doing a HUD install on camaro2lt car.

If I was forced to bet $1,000, I would bet that 99.99999% of dealers will tell you that it's completely IMPOSSIBLE to do. Unless it's plug-and-play with specific instructions on how to do it from the factory, most dealers don't want the hassle and most will actually believe that is truely is impossible.

Years ago, I retrofitted a factory COMMAND navigation system into a 2003 Mercedes CLK500. All dealers swore that it couldn't be done. But I found a guy in The Netherlands who is the equivalent of 2SSRS / Ofer and he made a business out of doing what the dealers said was impossible. And it really wasn't that difficult either.

You can always ask your dealer if they will however on something like this, most wont because of liability issues. Unless it is indorsed by GM and comes with GM instructions I don't see you finding many dealers willing to try this.

Thanks guys ... I never did any work on the car by my self before, and I don't want to screw anything up ..

thats why I was thinking if the dealer does the switch, it would be more convenient for me ! :(

sell the 10' and buy 13' ? .. not sure if its worth it
