I took delivery of number 9134 yesterday. Now I know what Trent meant when he said "Holy Shit!!!!". Steve kept his word and gave me the $500 over invoice. He assigned Corey Wozniak, a salesman at Basil, to finish my deal. Corey also picked me up at the airport. I have nothing but good things to say about Joe Basil Chevrolet. It took me about 7 1/2 hours to get back to NYC and the car averaged 20.7 MPG. If I didn't have a heavy foot, I think it would have been closer to the EPA rating of 24mpg. No pics yet, sorry. Trent, thank you for starting this thread and going out of your way to get those pics and even track my car. Without this thread I would probably be the latest guy on Camaro5 telling his dealer horror story.

Max, that is awesome lets hope my invoice is there also, I havent spoke to him since he informed me my car was in transit, but im sure ill be getting a call soon from him also.

Now when you guys say it should be here monday or tuesday do you mean of this week or next?

I mean Monday 6-1 or Tuesday 6-2.

I called Allied and the lady told me that the cars should be to their destination (a holding lot about 6 or so miles south of Basil) on Friday. Now the question is how long it will take to get from there to Basil. When I spoke to Steve on Saturday morning he said he hoped Monday or Tuesday as well.

I would think that if he has my invoice he should have your's too! Best of luck I will post here or PM you as I hear more.

Corsa, Maxdmax, I can't believe 2 weeks ago you found out you were at 3400, and now your looking at delivery this week! That's fast!

Here are three cell phone pics I took yesterday at Basil. Guy in the car is my brother. He's an import guy buying an EVO soon, and was very impressed with the Camaro. As you can see by the third pic, he has what Fbodfather calls "Perma-grin".

But it's not as big as mine.

No. He gave me a ticket. I'll pay the fine and take a defensive driving class to get the 4 points removed from my record. This is my first speeding ticket ever. I was hoping he would give me a break but no luck.
