Convertible top problems in the middle east - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Just wanted to check if any one is having top issues in the middle east. I have a convertible on order and after reading about all the issues I'm having second thoughts. Are the dealers in the middle east capable of rectifying these issues? The US dealers are certainly having a hard time solving them.

Are you serious about buying a soft top in this place ??

Dust- Moisture- Heat and 11 months of Summer makes it difficult to think about switching off the AC !!

I've had my convertible SS for a year now and have absolutely no issues. Most of the top issues that affect Camaros in the US dont affect us as the cloth they use is different in the middle east. I have no rub marks and no tearing or anything. The only issue is you have some wind noise when driving above 100kmph but you can only hear it if you dont have music on.

As far as the weather goes in the past year I drove 5 months top down even during the day and 3 months top down only at night. So really its only 4 months of summer where you cant enjoy the convertible aspect.

It's nice to hear that you have had no issues with the top.
I'm getting mine by the end of this month and I'm looking forward to driving it with the top down.

dont buy it i wished i never bought mine to many tops problem dealership cant fixed and called gm so far i got nothing i have a 2011 conv and i called lemon law because this is been a issue for a year and i getting no were dont buy it
